Asana Customer Reviews (1)
Asana is a popular project management apps available right now and is used by many teams.
Pros of Asana
Customization and Tracking
Team leaders and customize their dashboards to make it easier to keep track of the different tasks assigned to team members. Tasks can also be assigned with a variety of tags such as “urgent” to help prioritize work.
You can assign a task to a member of the team and when they’re done, they can reassign it back to you or to the next member who’s supposed to work on the task next.
Plenty of Integrations
There’s no shortage of integrations with Asana. It supports can be integrated with Google Calendar, Google Drive, Dropbox, Slack, and more.
You can use Asana on your phone or tablet too since it has Android and iOS apps.
Your Files Are Secure
It’s easy to share files and documents on Asana. Since these files are confidential, Asana provides reliable security for all of your team’s data. You can also simply copy paste text into tasks if you don’t want to share files.
Cons of Asana
Steep Learning Curve
My biggest complaint - Asana has plenty of features to make life easy but using it can be difficult for first-timers.
Team leaders or members who don’t have experience using Asana will need to spend time to get used to it. Sometimes, training is required.
Tasks Can Only Be Assigned to One Person
One of the things that make Asana unique is that you can only assign a task to one individual.
This is great because it helps keep people focused and avoid confusion but it can also be problematic.
If you want two people to work on a task at the same time, this won’t be possible. It will also be an issue if the person you assigned the task to isn’t available or responsive.
No Time Tracking
Asana will help you keep track of many things but time isn’t one of them. If you need time tracking for billing purposes, Asana might not be the best app to use.
